Welcome to Our January 12th Auction, Selling the Personal Effects & Memoirs of the Late Dr. Robert M.W. Kempner with Additions to Include German Militaria & Firearms.

 Dr. Robert M.W. Kempner was a lawyer in the Weiner-era Prussian Ministry of the Interior.  When the Nazi’s came to office in 1933, he fled abroad as a Jew; settled in the United States; and returned in US Army uniform with the victorious Allied troops in 1945.  He acted as assistant prosecutor, in charge of rebuttal cases at the main International Military Tribunal in Nuremburg.   Letters, records, personal memoirs, photographs and maps detailing 60 years of Holocaust history including behind the scenes notes about the Nuremburg trial and Barbosa Invasion of USSR are being offered for sale at absolute auction.  Since Dr. Kempner’s death in 1993, this historically relevant collection has been held privately and will be sold in 70+ Lots.

Full settlement shal be made on day of sale.  Unpaid bills and absentee bids will be charged $10.00 per day late fee after close of business on Monday, January 17, 2005.

Sales Tax

Sales tax will be collected unless you execute a state sales tax exemption certificate and maintain on file with Wilson's Auctioneers and Appraisers.

Removal

All items become your responsibility when sold.  Buyer assumes all risk.

Resale

Wilson's Auctioneers and Appraisers reserves the right to resale any property not paid for in full day of sale.  Buyer shall be responsible for all expenses incurred from resale, collection, and/or damages resulting from sale.

Wilson's Auctioneers and Appraisers shall designate the buyer after each item is sold.  If a dispute arises between two agents, Wilson's Auctioneers and Appraisers may reopen bidding.  Wilson's Auctioneers and Appraisers designation shall be final.

Bidder agrees to hold owners and Wilson's Auctioneers and Appraisers harmless for any personal injury to himself or agents and any property damage incurred on sale premises.
